The following video demonstrates how to install the Tip-Out Glass Windshield (part number 2881108) on your Polaris GENERAL. The steps include: installing the ball fittings (0:45), installing hinges (1:25), drilling holes in the visor (2:06), setting the windshield in place (4:30), installing the handle mount (4:55), installing the windshield shocks (5:38), installing the backing plate (7:38) and testing the operation of the windshield (8:48).
Note: To install the handle base backing plate on models equipped with RIDE COMMAND or Rockford Fosgate®, remove the upper dash panel instead of the center storage box after the holes are marked and drilled. Install the handle base with the backing plate, and then reinstall the upper dash panel.
The windshield is part number 2881108.
