Generator Shipping Methods and Prices

Shipping methods and prices for Polaris generators are dependent on generator model. Some models are only available to purchase through your Dealer.

P2000i, P2500iEBT, P3200iEBT, and P3200iE

  • Generator is shipped via UPS Ground.
  • It can take up to five business days to be delivered.


  • Generator is shipped via express shipping.
  • It can take up to four business days to be delivered.

P5500 and P6500

Generator is shipped via Freight Shipping. Freight delivery is reserved for large, heavy, or oversized items. We partner with multiple freight carriers to ensure your items are safely loaded onto a truck and delivered to your home. Polaris currently offers To the Door delivery  for all freight items.

To the Door Delivery:

  • If living in a home, your item(s) will be placed outside, as close to your front door as possible.
  • If living in an apartment, your item(s) will be placed outside your individual unit. Your presence may be required if the driver needs access to the area outside of your building.
  • Your item will be left in its original packaging from Polaris.
  • You will receive a text message and email from the freight carrier with an estimated delivery date.

Please note: Shipping times vary based on destination, weather, and holidays.

General Information

All orders submitted by 12 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) Monday through Friday will usually ship the same day. *Orders received after 12 p.m. CST will usually ship on the following business day. Orders placed after the Friday cut off will ship out Monday. Holidays and severe weather may delay processing time.

*To ensure quality and freshness, oil is packaged when the order is received. Manuals are printed when the order is received. Due to fulfillment process, orders containing oil and/or manuals may take 48 business hours to ship.

Once your order ships, we'll send you a shipping notification email, which will include a tracking number that allows you to track your package on the carrier's website. 

Shipping Exceptions

We currently ship to U.S. and Canada addresses, including Alaska and Hawaii. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international addresses. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Canada: We cannot transfer the contents of your cart from the United States site to the Canada site. If you are trying to ship to Canada, please switch to one of our Canadian sites and re-enter the contents of your shopping cart:
  • Mexico: We currently do not ship to Mexico.

Outside of North America: We currently only fulfill orders within the United States and Canada. Sign up to receive updates about Polaris products and commercial activity. 

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we will send you a shipping notification e-mail, which will include a tracking number that allows you to track your package on the carrier's website.

You can also check the progress of your order by following the steps below:

  •  Click on "Log In" in the top right corner of the website
  •  Click on "Check Order Status"
  •  Entering your e-mail address, phone number, and last name that was used on the order during placement.
